Dr. Martha Karuga
Medical Doctor
Dr Karuga is originally from Colombia and studied medicine in Warsaw Medical University in Poland. While working in Poland as a medical doctor, she completed Paediatrics and Family Doctor training.
She is fluent in English, Spanish and Polish.
She moved to Australia in 1998 where she continued working in paediatrics and in 2011, while doing missionary work in Kenya with The World Vision International/ Samaritan Purse, the vision of her career direction changed.
She joined the General Practitioner Training Program 2 years later and has been providing GP services in South Australia ever since.
She is a happily married mother of 3. She is passionate about providing high quality medical care and helping the surrounding communities to make the lifestyle changes needed to ensure better health outcomes.
Her free time is dedicated entirely to her family and close friends, as well as taking part in outdoors activities like walking and exploring the surrounding city hills.
